I am not currently accepting commissions, but I am accepting 4-3-2 quilt orders (see below).
I am currently working on several projects and cannot take on more at this time.
I will be updating this page when that changes.
Please check back for more information.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT MY COMMISSIONED QUILTS
- I make Modern and Mid-Century Modern-inspired quilts with quilt shop quality materials.
- I do not make quilts from old clothing or other recycled materials.
- I will not copy someone else's quilt.
- I usually work with my own designs or use traditional blocks in modern settings (aka Modern Traditionalism).
- Currently, I only make baby and throw-size quilts.
- My quilts START at $300.
- This price is for a simple patchwork baby size quilt featuring all solid-colored fabrics with minimal quilting. Prices go up based on materials, design, quilting, and time needed to complete the quilt.
- For example, a baby quilt using more expensive fabric such as prints or organics, a complicated design, dense quilting, and a custom label could cost $800, or more.
- Pricing is determined on a quilt by quilt basis; but to give you an idea of throw quilt pricing, a simple patchwork small throw with minimal quilting STARTS at $500. A larger throw of similar design STARTS at $600. In most cases, prices will be higher than the amounts listed here as most of my quilts are not simple patchwork with minimal quilting.
- A 50% deposit is due once a color palette and design have been decided. The remained is due upon completion go the quilt, prior to shipping.
- Quilts typically take 8 to 12 weeks to make, based on my workload.
- I ship via UPS Ground. I am currently not offering international shipping options.
- Returns and exchanges are not accepted due to the customization of each quilt.
WHY WON'T I COPY SOMEONE ELSE'S QUILT?
First, because doing so without permission from the original quilt maker is wrong. Second, even with permission, I have learned that copying other people's work is not enjoyable for me. It sucks the joy and creativity right out of my soul. My favorite parts of the quilt-making process are choosing the color palette and creating a design.
WHY HAVE MY PRICES GONE UP?
I have been quilting for many years and it was time for a raise. My skills have sharpened and I have taken several classes to better my craft. In addition, fabric and other material costs have increased significantly in the last few years.
Like My Work, but not Sure Commissioning a Quilt is for You?
A 4-3-2 quilt may be just what you're looking for!
WHAT EXACTLY IS A 4-3-2 QUILT?
I currently have four designs that offer limited customization options. Because of the limited customization, I am able to offer these quilts at a lower price.
Design: You choose your favorite of the FOUR options pictured. The finished quilt will be throw sized. Specific measurements vary from quilt to quilt based on the size of the quilt blocks or segments and the quilting.
Quilting: You select from THREE options: organic straight horizontal lines, organic diagonal grid, and a third design based on the quilt design selected.
Palette: You select from TWO options: All sold colored-fabric or scrappy. If you select all solids, you have a few more options based on your color preferences. Scrappy quilts use a little bit of everything so there is not much customization available for that option, but please let me know if there are any colors you would like used sparingly.
Like commissioned quilts, these quilts are made to order so the turn-around time is 8 to 12 weeks.
