All Stitchologie quilts are created by me on my domestic sewing machine. Many of them with free-hand, linear quilting (top-stitching). 'Freehand' means I refrain from using guides, rulers, or templates. This is a design choice that lends to the unique, handcrafted look of each quilt. While the main focus of Stitchologie has been quilts up to this point, in the coming months you can expect to see knit items start showing up in my gallery and in my posts. In these pieces, I like to work with a variety of fibers in different weights to create modern accessories and home goods.
My favorite things include Brody, my Peloton, concerts, big fat fantasy novels, spicy tuna rolls, and Scottish brogues. When I'm not working on a quilt or knitting up a storm, you can find me chillin' with B. & Doug, working out, writing, reading, cooking, or baking.
